Ancient Roman Ruin Scan
sketchfab
I captured a glimpse into the remnants of an ancient Roman structure I stumbled upon this past summer, where remnants of a bygone era still lingered amidst the cracked and weathered stones. Utilizing 124 photographs snapped with precision, I employed Agisoft Photoscan to painstakingly reconstruct the intricate architecture, each detail and nuance meticulously preserved in the process. Subsequent refinement was achieved through Zbrush's remeshing capabilities, allowing for a more accurate representation of the ruin's original shape and form. Ultimately, the textures were assembled within Substance Painter with a focus on authenticity, resulting in an immersive digital replica that honors the history and grandeur of the ancient Roman structure.
