I discovered my inspiration on this Wikipedia article en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dogu. It’s titled "Dogū de Ebisuda17 in northern Japan's Miyagi prefecture, located in the Tōhoku region. Dating back to the Jōmon period, 1000-300 BCE. According to TNM records." I then brought this statue to life on Zbrush and Substance Painter.
