Ancient Egyptian Canopic Jars
cults3d
These jars draw inspiration from canopic jars used by ancient Egyptians to safeguard and preserve mummified organs of the deceased. Depicted on the lids are four sons of Horus: Duamutef, a jackal-headed god who shields the stomach, Hapi, a baboon-headed god who safeguards the lungs, Imsety, a human-headed god who protects the liver, and Qebehsenuef, a falcon-headed god who guards the intestines. The names of these gods are etched into the interior of the lids and jar bases alongside the CDT rabbit logo. Solid lids without names are available upon request.
