prusaprinters

Canopic jars were used by ancient Egyptians to store and protect the mummified organs of the dead. The four sons of Horus, depicted on the lids, are jackal-headed Duamutef who protects the stomach, baboon-headed Hapi who protects the lungs, human-headed Imsety who protects the liver, and falcon-headed Qebehsenuef who protects the intestines.

This jar depicts Imsety. Files for the other jars in the set can be purchased from my Gumroad store at https://gumroad.com/voxinaudita

Default print size for the lid is 103 mm long by 109 mm wide by 75 mm high. The jar is 122 mm long by 122 mm wide by 159 mm high.

Scaling down the print size is not recommended, as holes will develop in the thin front wall of the lid.

Both the lid and jar can be printed without supports.

Print instructions

Category: Sculptures Print Settings

Printer Brand: Prusa

Printer: i3 MK2S

Rafts: No

Supports: No

Resolution: 0.15

Infill: 5%

Notes:

Approximate print times: Lid 6 hours, jar 16 hours
