Ancient Egyptian Canopic Jar: Imsety
myminifactory
Ancient Egyptians employed Canopic jars to safeguard and store the mummified organs of the deceased. The four sons of Horus, displayed prominently on the lids, are Duamutef the jackal-headed son who guards the stomach, Hapi the baboon-headed son who safeguards the lungs, Imsety the human-headed son who protects the liver, and Qebehsenuef the falcon-headed son who defends the intestines. This jar showcases Imsety. Files for the other jars in the set can be obtained from my Gumroad store at gumroad.com/voxinaudita. The default print dimensions for the lid are 103 mm in length, 109 mm in width, and 75 mm in height. The jar measures 122 mm in length, 122 mm in width, and 159 mm in height. Reducing the print size is not advisable, as holes will form in the thin front wall of the lid. Both the lid and jar can be printed without supports.
