It was an unremarkable day as Chris Robinson took out his newly bought copy of 3D Max and plugged it into the old PC he'd inherited from his uncle after that dude had gone down under. Little did Chris know, he was on the cusp of something epic as those iconic windows loaded up for the first time in an unremarkable 5 seconds, which was lightning quick compared to most software launchers these days! The cursor, in its majestic white hue, began clicking furiously over the buttons in an endeavor to bring some sense of organization out of chaos, or at least provide a good chuckle when watching his non-techie mates stare blankly at what can only be described as an avant-garde masterpiece. And thus began the great journey, filled with triumphs and failures of this talented 3D master as he tried and eventually managed to recreate that stunning futuristic building seen on one too many YouTube tutorials – all courtesy of this beautiful, unyielding beast, the grand daddy of computer software himself, 3d Max.
