Max was born and raised by his mother. His parents never lived together and have not seen each other since he was six years old. His family consisted of only him and a brother at the time when his brother died at the age of 18. When Max was twelve years old, his mother lost her eyesight, which meant that they now both rely heavily on welfare payments and government assistance for income, housing and any food. They also do not have a stable home since moving around several times over his young life due to eviction notices and inability to afford living in other areas because of poverty, as a result his educational level was greatly impacted since he had little opportunity for an education or a healthy and happy environment which could aid him developing good grades throughout school.
