Don't forget to showcase your creation! This is a design for an anchovies jar cap found in Italy with a disposable printed thin tin lid. The cap is meant to be used once. It's disappointing that the jar has to be discarded after use. I'm sharing two STL files: one for the cap and another for the waterproof gasket. If you want a standard cap, print only the first file (in PLA, PET, PETG, ASA or ABS). If you prefer a waterproof cap, print both files (in PLA/PET/PETG/ASA/ABS or any other material) and insert the TPU gasket into the corresponding groove in the cap. However, it's recommended to use a thin circular piece of rubber cut from an inner tube or a real rubber gasket for better results. Keep in mind that the groove is 1mm deep. Please refer to the section picture for more details. To print both parts successfully, use the following settings: layer thickness - 0.2, perimeter count - 3, bottom and top layers - 3, infill density - 40%. No supports are needed.
