Seems like 10 years ago we picked up this nice little 4pc set of (Anchor Hocking) glass casserole dishes. The LDPE lids have long ago failed. It seemed somehow wrong to pitch/recycle the glass dishes for want of a lid. I'm sure that taking cold leftovers from refrigerator to the microwave and heated to serving temp was much harder on the plastic than the glass. I figured my 3D printed TPU lid would not be microwave or dishwasher safe. I forgot to tell that to my wife... the lid survived both microwave AND dishwasher; and after a couple cycles appears no worse for the wear :) I placed some raised text that failed to print. Perhaps with different filament, print temperature, or speed?
