I am back with a vengeance. Here's the 3D model that got me out of commission: a post-apocalyptic metropolis that'll freeze your water bottle solid. Originally crafted in Sketchup 8 and seamlessly translated into every other 3D format under the sun, this beast is native to .skp and takes 3ds Max 2016 to get her running. The visual effects are handled by Vray 3.00, because nothing says "devastated" like a Vray-enabled scene. I entered it into the 3D challenge %232 122 on a whim, because why not? It's a place that exists only in my mind - or maybe yours. The city I envisioned is one that's been abandoned by its residents due to a perpetual water shortage. It's an unforgiving environment that's more likely to shrivel up your socks than give you a decent selfie opportunity. My attempt at recreating a Chinese roof system ended in disaster, so instead of despair, I opted for destruction - but don't hold it against me, I tried my best! All credit goes to Moboille for hooking me up and getting me back on the grid - they're life-saving stuff, folks.
