Key Features: Four Female, two Male, one Neutral Basemesh, and one FACS are included. All models feature Quad geometry. Subdivision ready! Sculpt-ready using Multires! UV unwrapped! Video game-ready! Over 30+ different FACS to reference from for a wide range of expressions. What is FACS? FACS stands for Facial Action Coding System, a comprehensive list of facial movements that can be blended together to create various expressions. Why Buy This? You can use the model as a base mesh for sculpting or as a facial anatomy reference. The FACS expressions are perfect for anatomy reference and video game production. Clean UV layout ensures smooth texture painting. Or simply help out a high school student like me make some money. Instructions: The .FBX basemeshes come in High Poly only. To get the lowest poly, use the Multires Modifier and UNSUBDIVIDE it to your desired poly count. Some models share the same UV layout, allowing for interchangeable textures for easier texture painting. All basemeshes provided, except two, are using the same basemesh. This can be combined into a Morph target (Shapekey/Blendshape). FACS will be included in the BLENDER PROJECT as I have no success in exporting it out. Please append it to a new .blend rather than exporting it. Background: I started learning 3D sculpting about a year ago, around the same time I first heard of Blender. Initially, I focused on stylized and cartoony head sculpts but later shifted towards realism. As I progressed, I found that visualizing facial anatomy three-dimensionally without a reference or guide was challenging. Using basemesh as a starting point is much more efficient while learning the fundamentals of person likeness. I figured it's reasonable to share these base meshes for anatomy reference at an affordable price. If you can't afford this, please send me an email with your name and I'll email a copy for free.
