Intestinal villi are minute protrusions measuring around 0.5-1mm in length emerging from the small intestine's wall. These structures possess additional extensions called microvilli that project from the epithelial cells lining the villi. Villi play a crucial role by enhancing the surface area of the intestinal wall and facilitating absorption. Covered with epithelium, they aid in the diffusion and transportation of fluids and nutrients. The size of villi varies across different parts of the intestine, and they flatten when the intestine distends. Each villus has a core comprising delicate areolar and reticular connective tissue that supports the epithelium, various capillaries, and often a single lymphatic lacteal which fills with chyle during fat digestion. Textures are included in the files. Available file formats include 3DS MAX VRAY, 3DS MAX DEFAULT, FBX, and OBJ.
