anatomically correct poseable action figure for drawing
thingiverse
I was searching for a perfectly proportioned articulated human figure to use for drawing, testing poses for animation, etc., but couldn't find any (although ModiBot http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2222384 is not too bad), so I created one :)\r\n\r\nHe's proportioned 8 heads tall, has 15 joints that allow anatomically correct poses, and stands 12 cm tall. Except when he's posing, lounging, jumping, hanging, etc., so most of the time. :)\r\n\r\nPrinted in white looks pretty much like a cartoon skeleton. I included a few variations for some body parts as he's still a work-in-progress. I plan to make a female version as well.\r\n\r\nSince they are symmetrical, I only included one of each leg- and arm bones (4 altogether) along with hand and foot; print two of each, and don't forget to mirror!\r\n\r\nUpdate: I've added a few new parts \r\n- an improved hand with a new forearm that even has a little elbow "bone" to stop it from bending backwards,\r\n- better feet with new lower leg that does the same ("knee caps"), \r\n- plus a new pelvis.\r\n\r\nUpdate: I've added new neck- and thigh bones with a slit in the ball that makes them easier to click in place; plus a new head with improved neck socket.
