Anatomical Heart

Scan of a anatomical heart sculpture I had at my house. This was originally a cast glass piece by Miriam Ewers, which I transformed into something new last year during Fab Academy. Using Flex wax, I created a negative of it and then cast it in hydrostone as shown here: http://blog.kaziunas.com/?p=5147 I also cast the heart in urethane rubber. It was actually the rubber heart that I scanned with 123D Catch to create this model. The raw scan is available here: http://www.123dapp.com/obj-Catch/Anatomical-Heart/915340
