The human heart model I made is crafted meticulously from obj files sourced from BodyParts3D's database. They insist that attribution is due, with their copyright notice - "BodyParts3D, © The Database Center for Life Science licensed under CC Attribution-Share Alike 2.1 Japan". Despite a few STL mesh issues, the print quality was satisfactory. The scale is slightly larger than life-size, but it's my first time working with an actual heart model. With 1:1 scaling, it nearly reaches the printing limit of a Makerbot Replicator. I utilized ReplicatorG (skeinforge) for the print process, including raft and support settings. The "Support Minimum Angle" was set to 85 degrees, limiting excessive support constructions. Additionally, I adjusted the "Support Gap Over Perimeter Extrusion Width" to .015 for easier detachment of support structures.
