I restored an old stationary Live Steam model and thought it would be awesome to add some extra functionality, so I decided to install a little dynamo and a voltmeter. An analogue meter was purchased through Amazon at a very reasonable price, and all I had to do was mount it, which was a breeze. The meter itself is available on numerous online marketplaces, including Amazon, Mabnggood, Gearbest, and Ebay. To secure the housing in place, four screws are used to attach it to the base of the model, and I added a cable exit hole on one side - this setup works perfectly for me, but you could easily drill another hole if needed.
