<p>This is an insert to fix three problems with the Analogue Nt cartridge slot:</p> <ol> <li>The cart slot is very loose. This removes a lot of the back and forth wiggle.</li> <li>It raises the cartridge by 3mm. In my experience, the Nt reads carts better if they are slightly raised.</li> <li>It prevents metal-on-plastic contact with your NES cartridges.</li> </ol> <p>Analogue sent out chintzy little plastic cartridge protectors, but all they do is prevent the metal on plastic contact. The loose cartridge slot is one of the biggest design problems in the Analogue Nt so this is cheap and easy fix.</p> <p>This was only designed for the original Analogue Nt. I'm not sure if it will fit the Nt mini. It is a tight fit on purpose. If it was made looser, it would come out when you took out the cartridges. I also made a simple dust cover because this holds the cartridge slot open. You might want to make a fancier one.</p> <p>You might want to sand the curve down after the print so it's smoother. This is probably my favorite thing I've ever made. It vastly improves the Nt in my opinion.</p> Category: Video Games
