ANAK Meeple Box

Inspired by DutchMogul's Meepleverse, I've finally decided it's time to create a terrain piece that can double as a box for holding my fantasy meeples, which will be released as soon as possible. With printing and photography on the horizon in the coming weeks, I'm excited to see these little guys come to life. As a kid, I spent countless hours playing this old SNES isometric open-world RPG called DRAKKHEN with my best friend. Sadly, he passed away in 2018, but we learned that game inside out despite its translation errors, crazy learning curve, and bad reviews online. It remains one of my favorite games and holds a special place in my heart. The ANAK temples in the game were a highlight for me - you could get free healing from a cleric there. This box is a tribute to DRAKKHEN and my departed friend, who I hope is at peace. To add some extra flair, I've included four fantasy hero meeples representing four of the hero types you could build in Drakkhen. I printed these miniatures on rafts with supports for the ANAK temple box/building. If you're skilled enough, you might be able to print them without a raft if your settings are precise. These little guys are sized for Meepleverse and Pocket Tactics, coming in at 4mm thickness - just keep in mind that if you're using the new standard, you'll need to increase the Z-axis height by one mm in your slicing program to match.
