Anaheim Electronics Gunpla base
thingiverse
I'm building a display base for my MG Unicorn Perfectibility since it's the ultimate suit for Anaheim Electronics, making it stand out as a showstopper. I colored the logo with an acrylic blue marker to add a pop of color and make it more eye-catching. The new action base 5 is compatible with this base, featuring a sleek design without a front leg like its predecessors. However, the hole at the rear still accommodates older bases with a 6.92mm diameter, allowing for seamless compatibility. I printed the base with a high level of detail using 10-20% infill and a grid style to achieve a sturdy structure. While I didn't optimize my print settings, such as adding a better top layer, the result is still impressive. If I were to remake it, I'd consider setting a 1.5mm or 2mm top layer to smooth out the surface and eliminate bumps. This would require more filament, but the outcome would be worth it. In the future, I'm planning to create display bases for other iconic Mobile Suit models, including Zeon and Amuro Ray's suits, which will undoubtedly be fan favorites. The RG Nu is definitely on my list, as its design demands a high-quality base that does justice to its sleek appearance.
