SCENE INFORMATION The scene spans an area of 50 kilometers squared. Using open-source mapping data from OSM, the scene has been meticulously prepared for rendering within 3ds Max and V-Ray Next software. High-quality images were rendered utilizing the powerful capabilities of V-Ray Next, allowing for realistic depictions of the asset's detailed features. Please note that this model can be used in conjunction with older versions of V-Ray; however, varying results may occur. Previews showcasing render-outputs are available, and system units have been set to centimeters. With real-world scale taken into account, exporters may select from collapsed mesh formats as needed. Should further assistance be required, please do not hesitate to reach out to support. DISCLAIMER The asset has been specifically optimized for seamless use within 3ds Max and V-Ray software environments. All materials incorporated have been designed using the powerful V-Ray toolset. Additionally, all light sources utilized are native V-Ray lights, allowing users to tap into the full potential of these tools. Please be aware that translating V-Ray material settings to alternative export formats may result in inaccuracies or discrepancies. Use with disparate software and renderers is not endorsed by the creator; resulting outputs may differ from those experienced within V-Ray environments. The artist declines any responsibility for issues arising from the utilization of other software or renderers. GEOMETRY Within this scene, all objects have been carefully collapsed to streamline rendering processes. Every element has been uniquely named and assigned a corresponding layer to facilitate organization and ease of use. Divisions between categories (buildings, highways, railroads, water) are effectively handled through the judicious application of layers. While previews will serve as effective visual representations of the layered structure, please note that due to certain restrictions or data inconsistencies in OSM mapping, a comprehensive list of all included structures is not possible. Specific details on this point may be found by consulting preview images. Furthermore, due to inherent limitations within imported data, significant areas may be absent. Users can cross-reference these locations through preview images. Lastly, notable landmarks, while based upon genuine geographical information from OSM sources, have not been elaborately detailed or fully realized; they instead exist as approximations generated according to the limited available data. The topographical model presented here operates solely on a two-dimensional plane – no three-dimensional data or terrain relief has been applied. Regarding individual trees: the Polyclount and Vertices numbers stand at 1,551,440 and 814,506 respectively; these elements are displayed using boxes within their designated properties sections. As an added precaution, users will notice all components (inclusive of buildings, railroads, etc.) reside on a standardized V-Ray plane placed centrally at the 0-point origin.
