Our university team consists of six students including Raj Hemani, Chetana Hosakote Satish, Rakshitha Doddanaari Shamakumar, Vikas Subramanya, Shivani Rabra, and Xin Wang, guided by Professor Chi Zhou. We miss our mothers while studying far from home, appreciating their wisdom and love. Inspired by this bond, we designed a jewelry piece: a choker-like DNA symbolizing an unbreakable connection, a pendant showing a baby in the womb, and a chain representing trusting hands. Our design emphasizes the spiritual and physical bond between mother and child, highlighting the mother's role as protector, teacher, and guide throughout life.
