An Impatient Man

Another exploration of the human form, this time featuring a slightly rounded male figure. A colleague generously offered to be the subject of study, allowing me to capture his likeness with precision. Beginning with a high-resolution sculpt, I then imported the model into Maya where it underwent a thorough retopologization process. Next, I employed Substance Painter to bake the intricate details from the high-resolution mesh onto its lower-res counterpart, creating a more manageable and efficient foundation for rigging and posing within Maya's environment. Once this stage was complete, the final texture painting phase took place back in Substance, where every nuance of the subject's features could be meticulously captured and refined.
