An idea on Moineau pumps
thingiverse
To create a viscous fluid pump, I opted for ttsalo's design on Thingiverse. However, I encountered issues during testing and was advised that a rubber stator is necessary for a tight fit with the rotor. Unable to source elastic filament, I used oogoo silicone, which can be easily found online. After constructing a test model, I designed the rotor's cavity to be screwed out once the silicone had cured. The funnel-like part of the design serves as the stator. You can view the pump in action in these videos: forward (DJLLvQahp9U, qcOW9YIsH_U) and reverse (BdR1VQdDu4c). To replicate, print both parts, using a Listerine mouthwash bottle as a stator mold. Fill the mold with ooogoo silicone (a mix of cornstarch and silicone, with optional coloring), then remove the cavity after curing. Ensure some play for the rotor's movement when inserting it, adjusting motor settings accordingly.
