Human: Origin: Germany Producer: Friemann & Wolf Height: 33 cm Diameter: 11cm This train lamp, also known as an engine driver's light, was originally designed for German railways. Around 1960, it made its way to the Netherlands. Powered by a long-lasting acid/alkaline battery, this reliable lamp can shine bright for up to 12 hours after a single charge. What sets this lamp apart is its crucial role in underground communication. A distinctive yellow glass cover on top serves as a beacon, alerting train drivers and monorail operators of approaching traffic. When the lamp is functioning properly, it flashes a warning signal, ensuring safe passage and protecting miners from potential hazards deep beneath the earth.
