Update 2019-05-18: A revised version of the catapult start hook is now available, addressing a critical issue with airscrews larger than 11 inches colliding with the hook base's front screw. This alternative design resolves the original hook's issues by using screw fittings to distribute mechanical stress evenly throughout the fuselage. This solution allows for printing with any type of filament and eliminates the need for epoxy resin. The redesigned hook base comes in two variants: a "long" version that distributes stress over a slightly larger area but limits airscrew size to 11 inches, and a "short" version compatible with up to 12-inch diameter airscrews. To ensure optimal results, it's recommended to print all parts simultaneously. The hook base requires support for the nut cavities during printing; after removal, the supports can be easily pushed out using a screwdriver or drill through the screw holes. Additional hardware requirements include: * Two M3 screws * Two M3 nuts * Two 3.2 mm washers (recommended) * 2 mm steel wire (stainless steel is recommended)
