I recommend using 4mm plywood for the base and 10mm plywood for the side panels. The provided svg and dxf files use these dimensions by default. You can also access a tray generator, an OpenSCAD script that allows you to modify various object dimensions. This script produces a vector file compatible with laser cutters commonly found in fab labs. As I'm using a French version of BSD, I'm unable to upload my files on Thingiverse, except for the svg and dxf files with default dimensions. The project is fully open source and can be downloaded from GitLab at https://gitlab.com/influencepc/generateur-de-plateau-de-service. Additional information about the project is available at http://influence-pc.fr/18-08-2017-un-generateur-de-plateau-a-la-decoupe-laser.
