Amstrad Plus Gotek adapter
cults3d
This is an adapter for the Gotek USB floppy emulator that can be used in the Amstrad 6128 Plus. It can be used with an alternative firmware to read directly DSK images: https://github.com/keirf/FlashFloppy You can see on the images that I used some hot glue to keep all things in place (just to be sure), but you don't need to do that. The last version also contains some stabilisations on the side of the front panel, that are not visible in the images of my 6128 Plus. I added them later after I noticed that the front panel slightly deforms when pressing the button of the rotary encoder. Btw, I should have soldered the cables directly to the rotary encoder, because it definitivly needs too much space - use just a rotary encoder without the wiring board if you can. I printed the thing with the front panel facing to the building plate of the printer. It creates a very flat surface, because I use a glass plate ;-). You will find the STL file together with the FreeCAD source files in the download section. If you redesign it, please drop a line here :-). Update (2019-08-17): I stabilized the front a bit by adding two walls at the side of the part.
