As I printed my Ormerod2, frustrating print issues plagued me before switching back to Slic3r 1.1.7; telltale signs of those setbacks can be seen in the attached photo. Before resolving my print issues, I adjusted the y-idler bracket on my Ormerod2 - a modification that significantly improved its performance. Specifically, I identified the major source of the problem: the angle under the belt bearing, and replaced it with a straightforward vertical wall, directly integrated into the base layer. Since reverting to the original files once my printer was consistently printing accurately, I've yet to produce a model of these specs that exceeds my initial results using the revised y-idler bracket setup, potentially providing valuable insight for others who may be struggling with angled overhangs on their printers.
