Amscope to camera module adapter
thingiverse
This is an adapter that screws a camera module onto the trinocular Amscope extension tube found in models like the SM-3TZ-54S. The OpenSCAD file for this adapter is available, allowing you to adjust dimensions if needed. It uses the polyScrewThread_r1 library from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8796). There's a "correction" factor of 1.005 in the file because the printed thread was smaller than specified. If print issues arise, check the outer diameter of the M26 thread; it should be about 25.85 (ranging from 25.73 to 25.97). To install the adapter, remove the silver tube from the extension tube and screw on the adapter instead. Screw it in carefully to its maximum. Be cautious when handling both threads as they are similar, and ensure you're installing it in the correct direction. The large thread goes into the extension tube, while the small thread is for the C-mount. Once settled, adjust your eyes' focus first, then switch to the camera and adjust its focus with the extension tube, allowing simultaneous focus on both eyes and camera. To adjust image orientation, release the base of the extension tube (a small screw is located on the outskirt) and rotate it.
