This VESA holder secures an ultra-lightweight 11" display right onto the microscope rather than occupying precious desk space. The 3D printed sleeve slides snugly over the microscope's vertical column. Another option is a VESA pipe clamp, but these often slip down if too loose or fail to spin smoothly if tightened too much. The sleeve lets the LCD screen rotate freely without falling. The VESA holder itself boasts standard mounting holes at 75mm and 50mm spacings. The holes are precisely 4mm in diameter, ensuring that the VESA bolts stay securely in place. To print the VESA sleeve effectively, use supports only on the bed. A ledge inside allows half of the sleeve to rest on the column while the other half sits above it, providing additional height for the display. This ledge has a 45-degree overhang, which most printers can handle easily. If the sleeve feels too loose, wrap some electrical tape around the column to secure it in place. The VESA holder and sleeve connect seamlessly using a 20mm bolt, washers, and a hex nut. A friction fit keeps the monitor at any desired angle, offering maximum flexibility.
