AMS Stackable Stand Printer Plate Holder

AMS Stackable Stand Printer Plate Holder

I noticed on the 2nd level of my AMS stand there are technically another set of slots for attaching another layer, but mine were unused. I also didn't like taking up extra space on my desk for a holder for the now 4 Bambu Lab printer plates I had. So… I made a very simple holder that uses the top layer of my stand, to hold my plates. It is designed and has the clearance so you can screw in the AMS Stackable Stand plastic screws to secure the holder, so print an extra 2!Yes, I know this design uses A LOT of supports, but I wanted something quick. Sorry.Firstly, I printed with the “back” of the holder on the build plate. Then, I used Slim Tree supports for this model, and painted supports along the 45 degree wall because I found they were too thin and the print head was pushing them around during the print without them. All in all about 140g of filament to print.I have included a right and left version .stl, depending on where you want to put your holder. The holder is designed to have the “back nozzle clean off tab” of the printer plate slide into the slots in the back of the holder. See photos for storage orientation. Enjoy!
