AMS-107 stands out as a toppled Moai with pronounced weathering on its upper backside yet remarkably well-preserved details on its front face. Situated alongside the Ara-Moai southwest of Rano Raraku, this ancient statue can be found on Rapa Nui or Easter Island in 2013 - untextured. This particular example was documented before vegetation clearance took place, but petroglyphs carved into its side indicate that these images, depicting canoes, were created after the Moai had already fallen into its current position.
