Amplifiers 1/64
thingiverse
Amplifiers Here are several simplified amplifier models in 1/64 scale. One is a full-stack consisting of two cabinets (flat and slant) and a head. They closely match the dimensions of a Marshall setup since measurements were taken from a JCM800 head and 1960 cabinet. The small, taller-than-wide amplifier (ComboA) is a combo with measurements taken from a Traynor YGM-3, although it can represent any number of combos at this scale. Finally, the wider-than-tall amp (ComboB, not shown in the photo) represents a Fender Twin style of amplifier and should be pretty close in scale to the others. The painting in the photo is somewhat unappealing but looks fine at a normal distance - keep in mind that the full stack is only about 12mm wide and 30mm high. I don't have the skill to add company emblems, but it would look really sharp and make a big difference in their appearance. Newsprint and masking tape both made decent grill cloth, just to add a little tooth and texture. I also have a model representing a Fender Bassman combo that I will upload when I have a moment.
