Amplifier Case
thingiverse
This project is a Father's Day/Birthday gift for my dad, featuring key components such as two TK2050 Class-D Audio Amplifiers (2x100W @ 4 Ohm), a 50K audio taper stereo potentiometer (volume control), a 3.5mm stereo panel mount jack (audio input), Neutrik RCA jacks (audio output), an SPST automotive round rocker switch with blue LED (12V), a gutted laptop power supply (18V @ 3.42A), and wood knobs. The connected speakers are Dayton Audio HDN-8. The enclosure is made from 1/2" wood, laser cut for the front, back plate, and base. Dimensions are 7.5"L x 5.5"W x 2.75"H; however, the wood top remains unfinished, with a temporary 3/4" oak piece holding it together pending installation.
