OK - here's the deal. With all the "wireless" devices on the market today, I find that each one takes up more an more real estate on the desktop and table top along with their associated wiring. So in an effort to get some of the things out of the way and still make them easily accessible, I made this shelf out of PLA which is an exact fit for the Amplifi Alien router with enough room behind the router to plug in the power cord, and the ethernet cables. It also has a detent in the base within which to set the unit so it doesn't slide off and it still shows the LED lit base of the Amplifi Alien. Mine is mounted so it is still easily accessible but out of the way so I can still run performance tests et. al. from the unit without getting up on a step-stool.It attaches to the wall with self tapping #10 Flat Phillips head sheet metal screws, mine are 1-1/4" long, your mileage may vary. They are available at any hardware store. It may not win a place at the Guggenheim, but it works for me. I printed it with a Prusa Mini+ 3d Printer, it really doesn't matter what the resolution is, but it came out OK and does what it's supposed to do: free up my desk for a cup of hot coffee so instead of knocking over the router, I can knock over the cup of hot coffee.
