Amphenol MIL-38999 Series III Receptacle Protection Caps

This Solidworks 2012 part file comprises multiple configurations of Amphenol MIL-38999 series 3 receptacle connector end caps in sizes 09 to 25. Individual STEP and IGES models are also included for each type and size. At the time of uploading, Amphenol didn't have 3D CAD files for protection caps; thus, this project was created. However, Amhenol now provides online 3D models for protective caps at http://www.38999-solutions.com/3d-drawings-for-38999-connectors-cp39-me10107-151.aspx. Two variations of protection cap are available in the part file: standard vertical knurl, typical of Amphenol supplied caps, and rugged grip type called "Arctic Grip"/P100 by Polamco. Measurements were taken from actual end caps and available dimensions from part drawings, except for the triple-thread, which is a close representation. The configurations allow selection between either of the two types and for shell sizes 09 through to 25, with the option of brass or olive drab color within the part configuration.
