Amphenol 11 GHz TNC Coaxial 17.5mm 4-Hole Flange Connector

This is a model of a Amphenol 11 GHz TNC (Threaded BNC) Coaxial 17.5mm 4-Hole Flange Connector ( p/n : 122248 ) that is good up to 11 GHz with an 4.1mm diameter extended insulation over a 2.2 mm round center pin. This part is also very similar cross-replacement (but not exactly) as a Rosenberger p/n: 56K404-200N5, which is rated to only 10 GHz. And yet another similar part is the Amphenol 31-2300-RFX which has a shorter extension, but same flange.The flange is 17.5mm square with an 12.7mm hole pattern. Note that this is larger that other TNC type coax connectors with 12.7mm flanges with 8.75mm hole patterns ! Also the body diameter is also larger and needs to be reviewed against the inside installation mounting hole diameter.There is a 9.53 mm extended Teflon insulator that covers up to 4.45 mm center conductor with a 2.1 mm diameter post and a 1.4 mm diameter cylinder for soldering.This style of connector is useful for waveguides and horn antennas where the center conductor is used to solder on a 1/4 wavelength radiator active element for the frequency of interest.
