Amphenol 11 GHz TNC Coaxial 12.7mm 4-Hole Flange Connector

This is a model of a Amphenol 11 GHz TNC (Threaded BNC) Coaxial 12.7mm 4-Hole Flange Connector ( p/n : 122385 ) that is good up to 11 GHz with an 4.1mm diameter extended insulation over a 1.27 round center pin. The flange is 12.7mm square with an 8.64mm hole pattern. Note that this is smaller that other N-type coax connectors with 17.5mm flanges with 12.7mm hole patterns ! Also the body diameter is also smaller and needs to be reviewed.There is a 4.75 mm extended Teflon insulator that covers up to 7.90 mm center conductor with a 1.27 mm diameter.This style of connector is useful for waveguides and horn antennas where the center conductor is cut to a 1/4 wavelength of the frequency of interest. The starting frequency is 2 MHz (typically where a BNC connector ends) and can go up to the maximum rating of this connector at 11 GHz (-3 dB) with a length of 1.67 cm (full wavelength). Note this does not include material thickness !
