Ampel - Mini Stoplight by Montiey remix

This is an extended remix of Montiey Stoplight. I've split the provided top shell part into pieces that can be printed separately. The now separated flanged sun shields are inserted into the openings from the front side. They're glued together with the case and internal transparent neutral white inserts. Replace the inserts with colored foil if needed. Update: I added a picture with a sample PCB screwed on, as well as a plan schematic for low current LED shining bright consuming 3mA current only. As you might think, this is just a bit of joking around. The LEDs can't fight sunlight, so put the stop light in a shaded area. https://www.reichelt.de/?ARTICLE=21627&PROVID=2788&wt_mc=amc141526782519998&gclid=CLC4_-jSh9UCFUK7Gwodd90DQA I've added two flat inserts 29.8mm dia (closed, hollowed) and put the fat backcase 50x130x30mm to use. Just in case you're going to make something bigger. I have the case in two versions: 1. The flat one has the LEDs only (STL file for download). 2. The fat thing can hold the electronics and a battery as well. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2434221 The depicted red and green front inserts can be omitted if the LEDs are not bright enough. Otherwise, you can add colored transparent thin foil inside the housing. Ask your local hobby store for Windradfolie oder Bastelfolie, non-adhesive preferred, 0.4mm thickness is sufficiently enough for the stop light. Example: https://www.modulor.de/bastelmappe-fensterfolie-farbig-transparent-s-0-1-mm-230-x-330-7-blatt.html They come in different sizes, thicknesses, and many colors. Take that if you have no other than black filament by hand. For calculating the (shunt-) resistors, check out http://www.spaceflakes.de. This site has an interactive calculator for exactly that purpose. As a sample, I've added a plan for the low current LEDs I purchased. Now the stop light shell has evolved into a universal system of parts for several purpose cases. Changes and additions I've designed and made: I simplified the shape of the shell parts. Removed the switch hole. Designed thin and thick LED insert plates that can be exchanged or adapted easily to LEDs with different shapes. Designed an intermediate open case frame. Designed a big bottom case part derived from the provided rear shell. Added mounting holes with captured nuts to the backside plates. Added a few screw-on posts to the backplate for holding something like a PCB. Added a few screw-on posts to the frontplate for holding something like a PCB, i.e. a thin plate with surface-mounted LEDs, tactile switches... I added a cable through to the fat case. It has the same "Stopfen" that I made for my Notausschalter-case: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2412076
