AMP plug 3 pole v3 (2 poles used)
thingiverse
This thing is a housing for three 6.35mm female connectors often used in many washing machines and other devices manufactured by LG Electronics. Those connectors can be found in similar products with various brand names as well. The filter type used this time is Tyco SZ 06021, but several similar filters are available too. The plug housing has been simplified to connect the power line filter directly with the controller board or internal device. After printing the thing: Crimp the wires to the two female connectors. Flatten out the small flexible notches that fix the female connector with the male blade connector on the board. Otherwise, you won't be able to remove the plug from the controller board later on. The two used connectors need to be fed in through the front opening instead of the back. Feed one wire from the front towards the back side. Heat up the female connector with a torch or heatgun slightly so it can soften the plastic a bit when you've pushed it in, do this for the next step. Drag the wire coming out of the back opening and push in the female connector at the same time now. Having a car lamp H4 plugged into the female connector helps to find the right position. Adjust the divided-in connector until the base of the lamp hits the front of the housing. Let the connector cool down before removing the helping H4 lamp then. Repeat the procedure for the other connector. See the pictures I've added. Warming up is not shown. Remember, it's always a good practice to secure the plug using some silicone or hot glue; you know? Don't let it slip away. Please note: this is not a genuine replacement for the stock parts. If you're unsure about working with electronics, especially high voltage from the mains, don't repair your appliance. Ask qualified persons for help.
