This is a Thingiverse remix by user WalRit.  You may find the original at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4661083The basic concept is a conical shape ("the plug") that can be assembled within the visor which acts as a retaining feature. It inserts through the rim piece and everything is pinned in place by anchoring into a T-slot in the head of the body (similar to the way we affix stuff to our 3d printer's aluminum extrusions). The pieces were designed to be able to shift a bit during installation to allow for it all to move into place.I have uploaded a video all about the setup and assembly required for a successful print, link is at the bottom (English subtitles included).  This method is repeatable on a stock Creality hotend (I made a lot of these guys); for any other configuration there is a chance your nozzle geometry or part cooling ducts may conflict with the space necessary to clear the pieces you will add mid-print.  To get an idea, you can print all 5 of the visor parts and a test piece of the top half of the crewmate (up until the point of the pause).  Remove the test piece from the bed, insert the visor, and pass a spare nozzle along the outer perimeter of the head behind the visor.  A thicker extrusion width could buy you more room (although this was designed for a 0.60 line width in mind).I have included 4 different bodies with a range of increasing thicknesses for the two vertical surfaces between the visor/rim assembly and the inside of the slot. In PrusaSlicer I am able to use the 0 model for 0.28 layer height; in Cura I have to use the +0.12 model in order for the middle perimeter to be fully included around the slot when also slicing at 0.28 layer height.  If it's not clear which file to use, advance to the 4 minute mark in the video to get some visuals. You'll need to pause the print at roughly 49.00mm (JUST BEFORE the model starts bridging over the rim & top of the slot). Be within a layer height of that - if you stop too early you risk crashing with the nozzle or the fan shroud. Optimally, use a pause sequence that parks the printhead behind the back of the crewmate. No supports are needed for the plug pieces. For the body, you'll need to support the backpack. This remix was intended for the scale of the original; I have no idea how far your printer can go in either direction before things start crashing or not fitting. Remember - print a test piece first!Print SettingsSupports: YesResolution:0.28Infill: 0%Filament:Grilon3 PLA Fucsia
