Amnesia a machine for guinea pigs
cults3d
I had an idea a few years ago to build an automatic feeder for my guinea pigs. For lack of time, I kept putting off this project until now when I finally found the time and decided to design the device. Since I love steampunk, I designed a machine with that style. The distributor can be mounted on most cages with vertical and horizontal bars. The device is programmable so you can guarantee more meals per day. Portion sizes can be adjusted via software or by changing the spiral. I recommend printing all the parts with PLA (it's less toxic than ABS) and using no toxic paint, as it could contaminate your small friends' food. To build this device, you will need some extra materials: -1 360° servo for full rotation -1 Arduino Lilypad -1 5mm LED in red, but any other color is also acceptable -3 M4 screws that are 25mm long -1 M3 plastic screw that's 10mm long -1 cellphone wall charger with a USB cable (if you have one with a broken cell phone side plug, it's even better) -2 6mm rubber pipes that are long enough to connect the tower with the core -1 piece of paper for the clock face You'll also need some small wires to connect all the electronic parts and some glue.
