Amnesia a machine for guinea pigs
thingiverse
I've been wanting to build an automatic feed distributor for my guinea pigs for a few years now, but I never had enough time. Recently, I finally found the time and decided to design the device myself. As a huge fan of steampunk, I wanted to create a machine with that style. The distributor is versatile and can be mounted on almost any cage with vertical or horizontal bars. What's more, it's programmable, so you can ensure your pets receive multiple meals a day. The portion sizes can be adjusted via software or by changing the spiral design. When building this device, I recommend using PLA for all parts since it's less toxic than ABS. It's also essential to avoid using any toxic paint, as it could contaminate the food of your small friends. To build this automatic feed distributor, you'll need some additional materials: * 1 x 360° servo motor (full rotation) * 1 x Arduino Lilypad * 1 x 5mm LED light (red or other colors of your choice) * 3 x M4 screws (25mm long) * 1 x M3 plastic screw (10mm long) * 1 x cellphone wall charger and USB cable (preferably with a broken cell side plug) * 2 x 6mm rubber pipes (long enough to connect the tower to the core) * 1 x piece of paper for the clock face * Some small wires for connecting all electronic parts * Some glue You can watch my tutorial on how to build this device by visiting the link: https://youtu.be/eJmz9YHF2FM
