Ammonoidea Clock - Continuous Clock - Linear Clock

I've fallen for this awesome clock at the Roues Libres exhibition during Designers' Days 2014 in Paris, where Designer Boaz Cohen and Sayaka Yamamoto of BCXSY [1] showcased their masterpiece. I'm thinking of creating my own version of this captivating clock. Initially, I built the clock in wood (over 0.5 meters tall) but it turned out to be too heavy for a budget-friendly clockwork. Now with access to a 3D printer, I was able to design and print a lighter version that runs on affordable clockworks costing 1-2 euros. The ammonoidea-shaped pointer is precisely positioned at the clockwork-indicator point for the hour-pointer. All you need: A standard clockwork (I used this one: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Weiss-Quarz-Uhrwerk-Movement-Quartzuhrwerk-Mechanism-Mit-3-Zeigersaetzen-4-/141287149980?ssPageName=ADME:L:OU:DE:3160 ) Note: You should print the lines and numbers with a lower scaling factor (for fitting in the housing) Other remarks: Ammonoidea refers to fossil snail [1] http://www.gizmodo.com.au/tags/linear-cycle/ Due to the size of my printer (220x220x230mm), the numbers appear slightly too small to read (only 5.2 mm high). However, who cares? It's a work of art and visually stunning!
