I loved finding a way to print and frame an Ammonite shell in some bold, unique color like blue. Unfortunately, this awesome item wasn't readily available in my area.\nThe scaled-down model measures exactly 100x90x30. I carefully adjusted its dimensions so it would fit neatly within the standard frame's interior size of 110x110, perfectly matching frames from IKEA.\nThe original design can be easily found by searching for "ammonite-2 model" on nunus-world website.\nOnce printed and framed, this beautiful model really stands out in a white frame. The model itself measures 10x10 sm, which gives it an excellent scale.\nThe printing process was made easy by avoiding rafts altogether. I used support features to help stabilize the print as needed.\nThe design was broken down into separate parts, focusing on just the visible top part that's actually within the frame.\nThe sliced-up parts are conveniently attached for easy assembly. The third and second parts provided the most attractive results, with part three yielding a really eye-catching glowing green night scene.\nHere Are My Print Settings: Printer: Flashforge 3D Dreamer Rafts: None Supports: Yes Resolution: Standard .2 mm resolution. Infill: 10% solid.
