The fossilised internal mould of a Dactylioceras ammonite, dating back to the lower Jurassic period roughly 180 million years ago, was unearthed on the Whitby Coast. This ancient creature thrived in the pelagic zone with a nektonic lifestyle. The specimen was created using Scann3D candidate version 3.1.0-10024. Model quality is deemed normal, and a total of 48 images were used to recreate this prehistoric marvel. No post-processing techniques were applied to ensure authenticity.
