This replacement loader pin for a toy pistol ammo clip has been reverse engineered from one my kids broke and should work equally well in any similar style loader. Depending on the gun's particular style, the horizontal pin might need to be filed shorter to fit properly. The STL file is scaled and oriented for printing using Cura, with detailed instructions provided for getting a strong and accurately printed part. Print Settings: Printer: Rigidbot Big Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 mm Infill: 0% Notes: Make the walls of this part 2.4 mm thick without infill. Use a first layer thickness of 0.2mm with a 7-10 line brim, and all remaining layers at 0.1 mm thickness. Printing this part requires support material set to at least 30% for perfect horizontal pin support, which will use minimal material due to the small size of the part. Works well with PLA filament. Print slowly and use a good part cooling fan. Ensure filament is calibrated both dimensionally and thermally. Calibration Piece: I used the following calibration piece: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1037301 Post-Printing Instructions: Fitting the Part: The loader pin is intentionally designed to be long enough to fit multiple styles of guns that use this type of loader. Simply file it down to fit your ammo clip, and no additional finishing should be required except for removing support material.
