Ammo Can Rifle/Shotgun Rest

This is a rifle/shotgun support that I designed to clip onto an ammo can. It provides a convenient platform to rest your gun on when shooting in the field or on the range. To ensure a snug fit and prevent damage to your gun, I recommend installing door seal tape or felt inside the rest where the gun will sit. Additionally, printing at least four exterior walls is essential to give the support the stability it needs to withstand shotgun/rifle recoil. I have used this design exclusively with a 12 ga shotgun loaded with 2-3/4" slugs and it has performed flawlessly without any issues. I'm not certain if this design will fit standard ammo cans, as there may be varying dimensions, but it does fit the harborfreight ammo dry box linked below. https://www.harborfreight.com/ammo-dry-box-61451.html This support prints in a single piece and should break free to rotate in the X/Y plane after some force is applied to turn it and break any connections made by the printer. I posted this design on Thingiverse at the request of an employee from Vance Outdoors in Columbus, OH who had seen my creation.
