A majestic statue of Amitābha Buddha rises from a sturdy lotus base, crafted from gleaming white marble that hints at ancient gilding and vibrant pigments. A visible joint runs along the Buddha's waist, while two hands are noticeably absent, yet wooden dowels and iron brackets remain to hold what once were delicate fingers in place. Intricate inscriptions and an exact date are also preserved on this magnificent work of art. Though it still requires refinement, its beauty shines through nonetheless.
