Amityville Horror Windows (Lit)
thingiverse
Amityville Horror Window Lights. Parts are exact and no tolerance was designed in. This is so parts could be sanded/filed to an exact fit, mitigate light bleed and to keep the flies out. A million ways to light with the battery/switch inside but, pictured is a quick and dirty way of goin' about it. Worked well. Search amazon for CR2032 Battery holder with switch. Not shown in illustrations is the diffuser to be glued on the LED bulb (printed in white). Takes the edge off. . . LED's are mini flicker bulbs yanked out of "better" tea lights. Transparency film is optional and looks just as well with the painted or printed vellum. I wanted an appearance of glass. Both vellum and transparency backs (printed side) were painted with Tamiya TS-73 Clear Orange Note the red line on the inside window frame. So the mullions are correctly recessed they should be flush with the back of the outer frame then glued in place. Probably could use some weathering. Working on a rear box with a battery housing and LED mount. Will upload when done.
